Bhopal, June 9 (IANS) As Prime Minister Narendra Modi completes 12 years in office, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has extended heartfelt tributes, describing the national leader’s tenure as a dedicated journey of selfless service towards building a developed India.

In a message posted on his X handle, CM Yadav highlighted PM Modi’s commitment to the nation, positioning him not merely as the Prime Minister but as a ‘Pradhan Sevak’ who places the welfare of 140 crore Indians above all else.

CM Yadav noted that 12 years ago, the nation elected PM Narendra Modi with immense enthusiasm and faith. Yet, PM Modi has consistently viewed his role through the lens of ‘Rashtra Dharma’, working tirelessly to realise the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’.

Guided by the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas’, his leadership has fostered inclusive growth, touching every section of society, particularly the poor, youth, farmers, and women.

The Chief Minister praised several landmark initiatives that have defined the PM Modi era. The abolition of Triple Talaq stands out as a significant step that restored dignity and self-respect to Muslim women. During the unprecedented COVID-19 crisis, the government ensured free rations reached millions and launched one of the world’s largest vaccination drives, extending support to citizens and even supplying vaccines globally, embodying the ancient Indian ethos of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’.

Under PM Modi’s stewardship, various Central welfare schemes have empowered the most marginalised, instilling a sense of rights, dignity, and self-reliance, CM Yadav wrote.

From financial inclusion through Jan Dhan accounts to housing, sanitation, clean cooking fuel via Ujjwala, and health coverage under Ayushman Bharat, these programmes have transformed lives at the grassroots level.

CM Yadav outlined that such measures have lifted crores of people out of poverty while doubling India’s economy and expanding infrastructure dramatically. Today, as India positions itself as a rising global power, the aspirations of citizens are being realised through policies rooted in compassion and human-centric development.

The government’s focus on good governance has set new benchmarks in progress, from digital transformation and economic reforms like GST to strengthening national self-reliance, he said.

The Chief Minister’s message underscores the transformative impact of the past 12 years, during which PM Modi has become one of India’s longest-serving Prime Ministers, soon to surpass all historical records for continuous tenure.

As the nation marks this milestone, leaders across the BJP ecosystem celebrate a period defined by decisive action, welfare delivery, and a renewed national confidence. The coming years are expected to build further on this foundation, steering India towards greater heights of prosperity and global leadership.
