New Delhi, May 7 (IANS) Challenges before the nation, achievements of governments and Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls remained in focus as a two-day district-level training session of the Delhi BJP kicked off in Rishikesh on Thursday, a party leader said.

Training Convenor MP Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Delhi Government Ministers Manjinder Singh Sirsa and Ashish Sood, Pankaj Singh, Training Co-Convenor Sumit Bhasin, and senior leader Rajeev Babbar participated in the session, said a statement.

The training session has been organised under the coordination of District Presidents Chandrapal Bakhshi and Raj Sharma Gautam.

National Organiser V. Satish and Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva will reach Rishikesh on Friday to address the sessions of both the districts, said the statement.

Uttarakhand Panchayati Raj Minister Madan Kaushik, Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Sumit Bhasin, former MP Ramesh Bidhuri, Yogesh Atreya, Treasurer Satish Garg and Media Head Praveen Shankar Kapoor addressed some of the sessions.

Spokesperson Rajkumar Falwaria, Coordination Team Member Mukul Dagar, and Kajal Pawar also addressed sessions.

The focus of the discourse at the training sessions was related to the party’s historical development, ideological foundation, organisational expansion, S.I.R., challenges before the nation, achievements of governments, booth management, media and social media, said the statement.

The BJP is organising the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Training Maha Abhiyan 2026 on a large scale across the country. Its objective is to equip party workers with ideological strength, discipline, and technical competence, strengthening the organisation at the grassroots (booth level).

The objective of the Maha Abhiyan 2026 is to promote the spirit of ‘Antyodaya’ and ‘Nation First’ among the workers, and to acquaint them with the history, ideology (Integral Humanism) and government achievements of the party, said a Delhi BJP leader.
