Nitin Nabin to hold key organisational meetings during three-day Uttarakhand visit

Dehradun, May 27 (IANS) BJP National President Nitin Nabin will be on a three-day visit to Uttarakhand from May 28 to 30, during which he is scheduled to participate in a series of organisational meetings and interact with senior leaders and party workers ahead of the Assembly elections in 2027.

According to the programme released by the party, Nabin will arrive at Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun at 4:35 p.m. on May 28. From the airport, he will proceed directly to the BJP state office, where he will chair a core committee meeting at 6:15 p.m. Later in the evening, he is also slated to hold a meeting with party ministers.

On the second day of his visit, Nabin will begin with a meeting with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. He will later visit the residence of the former Chief Minister, late B.C. Khanduri to pay tributes and meet the bereaved family members.

Following this, he will attend a series of key organisational meetings at a hotel on Rajpur Road beginning at 11 a.m. The first session will involve interaction with BJP MPs and MLAs.

At 2 p.m., Nabin will hold detailed discussions with state office-bearers, Morcha presidents, general secretaries, district in-charges, co-incharges and district presidents. Later at 4 p.m., he will interact with mayors, municipal council chairpersons, Nagar Panchayat heads, district panchayat presidents, vice-presidents and block chiefs.

In the evening, the BJP leader will also meet representatives from the media, social media, and the IT cell, along with party spokespersons.

On the final day of his visit, May 30, Nabin will offer prayers at Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple before visiting the residence of the president of Booth No. 141 in Dakra, Garhi Cantt, for breakfast. He will then attend a meeting of Booth Committee 138 under the Durgamall Mandal.

Later in the day, Nabin is scheduled to address an intellectual meet at Shivalik College in Singhniwala at 11 a.m. At 2 p.m., he will participate in a youth interaction programme at the Chief Minister’s residence, Mukhya Sevak Sadan.

He is scheduled to depart for Delhi from Jolly Grant Airport at 4:35 p.m. on May 30 after concluding the visit. The tour is being seen as significant for strengthening the party’s organisational network and coordination across various levels in Uttarakhand.
