The deceased man’s next of kin have been contacted.

UPDATE: A man and woman have been transported to the Sunshine Coast University, both in a stable condition, following a serious two-vehicle crash outside Australia Zoo.
The man received hand and abdominal injuries and the woman received injuries to her leg.
The third person involved in the crash was last reported to be in a critical condition.

EARLIER: Emergency services are at the scene of a serious two-vehicle with reports a motorist is trapped in the wreckage.
The crash, which occurred about 10.35am, is located on Steven Irwin Way, Beerwah, outside Australia Zoo.
Queensland Traffic is warning motorists of extensive delays with at least one lane reduced.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services and Queensland Ambulance Service crews are in attendance.
