Excitement is building for the upcoming AFC Women’s Asian Cup as the tournament trophy toured Parramatta Square, giving fans a preview of one of Asia’s premier women’s football competitions scheduled from March 1 to March 21, 2026.
A total of 12 teams — Australia, Bangladesh, China PR, Chinese Taipei, DPR Korea, India, Iran, Japan, Korea Republic, Philippines, Uzbekistan and Vietnam — will compete in the championship, which is expected to draw strong support from football followers across the region.
