TWO men have been accused of punching and pushing over bystanders and hitting cars as they walked down a Sunshine Coast main street.
Police allege the two men were walking down Hastings St, Noosa, about 9pm on Saturday night, pushing people and hitting cars as they went.
The men, aged 24 and 27, are then accused of pushing another man to the ground, causing him injuries, before one of the accused jumped on the bonnet of a car that had just parked.
When the driver got out of the vehicle, police say the two accused attacked him, punching him in the face before attacking another man with a face punch.
Police were called to the scene and arrested the men.
They charged the 24-year-old Coolum Beach man with three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm in company and one count of wilful damage.
A 27-year-old Fletcher, NSW, man has been charged with three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm in company, one count each of contravene direction and one count of obstruct police.
They are both expected to appear at the Noosa Magistrates Court on October 17.
Police are expected to speak further on the incident to the media today.
