New Delhi, May 23 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday wished BJP National President Nitin Nabin on his birthday, praising his unwavering commitment towards serving the nation and praying for his long and healthy life.

Appointed as the party’s National Working President in December 2025, Nitin Nabin formally took full charge as the 12th BJP National President earlier this year on January 20, succeeding J.P. Nadda.

Born on May 23, 1980, Nabin is celebrated as the youngest president in the history of the BJP, taking the helm at just 45 years old.

In a post on X, PM Modi said, “Warm birthday wishes to BJP National President Shri Nitin Nabin Ji. A youthful and dynamic leader, he has devoted himself wholeheartedly to strengthening the organisation and empowering our Karyakartas.”

“His innovative approach, energetic leadership and deep understanding of both organisational work and administration have earned him immense respect all across. His work reflects an unwavering commitment to the ideals of service and nation-building. Praying for his long and healthy life in continued service of the nation,” he added.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also took to X and wished the BJP chief on the occasion.

“Heartfelt birthday wishes to Shri Nitin Nabin ji, the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Your simple personality, dedication to the organisation, and continuous efforts to foster a spirit of service and duty among the workers will continue to make the party even stronger.

“I pray to God for your good health, long life, and a successful life,” Shah said.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, extending heartfelt birthday wishes to Nabin, called him a “symbol of youthful energy”.

“Under your able leadership, the sentiment of ‘Nation First’ has been further strengthened in the organisation and among all dedicated workers. I pray to Lord Shri Ram that you attain excellent health, a long and illustrious life,” he added.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, in a post on X, said, “Heartfelt birthday greetings and best wishes to the honourable National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the source of inspiration for millions of workers, Shri Nitin Nabin Ji.”

Praying for Nabin’s good health and long life, CM Gupta said, “Through your visionary thinking and dedicated work style, the organisation is continuously being strengthened. Your inspiring guidance always provides all of us workers with new energy, enthusiasm, and the inspiration for dedication to the service of the nation.”
