Hyderabad, June 9 (IANS) Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership has ushered in a period of historic governance reforms and transformative development, redefining India’s developmental trajectory.

The Central minister conveyed ‘heartiest’ congratulations to PM Modi on completing 12 years as the Prime Minister of the country and over 9,000 days in public office.

“By transforming governance into an instrument of empowerment, you have ensured that the benefits of progress reach the most vulnerable and marginalised sections of society. Guided by the principle of Antyodaya, millions of our fellow citizens have been brought into the mainstream of development, becoming active participants in the journey towards an Aatmanirbhar and Viksit Bharat,” Kishan Reddy said in a post on ‘X’.

“Your leadership has accelerated economic progress and infrastructure development while also rekindling Bharat’s civilisational confidence, cultural pride and sense of national purpose. Under your stewardship, India today stands taller on the global stage, rooted in its heritage and confidently shaping the future. As we celebrate these remarkable milestones, we remain inspired by your tireless dedication to the nation and your unwavering commitment to the welfare of every Indian. Under your guidance, India is poised to scale even greater heights in the years ahead. Praying for your good health and continued leadership in the service of Maa Bharati,” wrote the Union minister.

Kishan Reddy also posted another message on completing seven years as a Central minister.

“Today, as I complete seven years in the Union Council of Ministers, I am filled with gratitude and a renewed sense of responsibility, rededicating myself in the service of the people and Maa Bharati. From taking the oath as Union Minister of State for Home Affairs in 2019, to serving as Union Minister for Culture, Tourism and Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), and now as Union Minister for Coal and Mines, this journey has been one of learning, service and unwavering commitment to the nation under the guiding leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi.”

The BJP leader said that these seven years have given him countless memories, invaluable lessons and a deeper understanding of the larger issues. “Travelled across the length and breadth of the country in service of the people – from Jammu to Neyveli, from the Rann of Kutch to Guwahati – and met people from all walks of life. Their resilience, aspirations and faith in our nation’s future have continually inspired me and broadened my perspective on the immense diversity and strength of Bharat,” he said.

Kishan Reddy recalled monitoring the COVID-19 situation from the 24/7 Command & Control Centre at North Block under the guidance of Union Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah.
