Grapevine has it that Kingfisher model Poonam Pandey has been roped in for a Bollywood movie.
Helmed by Amit Saxena, this film will be Poonam’s first silver screen project.
When asked about the bombshell’s role in the film, director Amit Saxena said, “Given her image, no doubt Poonam will add value to the film.”
Elucidating why he had earlier denied signing on Poonam for his film, he added, “I had just met the producers twice and they didn’t want the film to be talked about until things were final. I was also surprised and angry to read about it earlier. But now that it is on and Poonam has been confirmed, I’m talking.”
Unperturbed by Pooja Bhatt’s upcoming ‘Jism’ sequel, the filmmaker stated that he is not competing with any filmmaker or any film.
Amit also added that both Poonam and Sunny have their own individual talents and thus comparing them will not be fair.
“Pooja is making her film, I’m making mine. I don’t think there should be any comparison between Sunny Leone and Poonam Pandey. If it’s because of their respective images, it’s another issue. All this talk of competition and comparison is being fictitiously created,” he said.
