Canberra, March 24 (Australia India News Newsdesk)

The High Commission of India in Canberra, in association with RMMC, organised Raag Prakriti, a captivating evening of Indian classical fusion music that blended the rich sounds of sarod, santoor and tabla.

The programme featured renowned artists Rahul Bhattacharya, Dr Dhananjay Daithankar and Ganesh Tanawdeji, whose performances created a deeply immersive and soulful experience for the audience. The event highlighted the depth and versatility of Indian classical music while presenting it in a contemporary fusion format.

Attended by members of the Indian diaspora, music enthusiasts and guests from diverse backgrounds, the evening served as a platform to promote India’s cultural heritage and artistic excellence in Australia.

Organisers noted that such initiatives play an important role in strengthening cultural ties and fostering greater appreciation of Indian arts within the broader Australian community. The event was widely appreciated for its serene ambience and high-quality musical presentation, leaving audiences with a lasting impression of India’s rich musical traditions.
