Of late, tabloids are abuzz that Bollywood Baadshah Shahrukh Khan might soon be seen portraying the character of Pandit Jawarharlal Nehru on the silver screen.
Reportedly, renowned Hollywood filmmaker Bruce Beresford is considering making a film on India’s late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The Oscar-nominated moviemaker recently flew down to India for the same, and at a party thrown for him by dentist Dr. Pradhan, he gave a brief demonstration of his project by superimposing faces of the stars who he wishes to rope in for the venture.
Shahrukh, who was also among Bruce’s star cast, was reportedly projected as Nehru.
King Khan as Jawaharlal Nehru? Sounds interesting for sure.
