Hyderabad, Aug 23 (IANS) Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said on Sunday that by encouraging startups, Telangana is emerging as a space tech hub.
He greeted scientists, engineers, and technical experts on the occasion of National Space Day.
The Chief Minister extended his best wishes to all scientists, engineers, technical experts, and other staff who have brought pride and prestige to India in the space sector through their remarkable scientific achievements.
“With the success of Chandrayaan-3, India has demonstrated its scientific and technological prowess to the world by setting foot in the lunar South Pole region. Behind these triumphs lie years of hard work, dedication, and relentless research. I wholeheartedly congratulate each and every individual who contributed to this great achievement,” the Chief Minister said in a social media post.
He said the youth should take steps towards innovations. “They must dream big. They should move forward with determination until those dreams are realised. Science is our strength… Innovations are our future… Space must be our next destination,” the Chief Minister added.
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Science and Technology, Pawan Kalyan, also greeted the scientists.
“From a dream in the sky to a landmark on the Moon, Bharat’s space journey is a story of vision, courage and scientific excellence. On National Space Day, we celebrate the extraordinary achievements of ISRO and our scientists, from the historic Chandrayaan-3 lunar landing and Aditya-L1’s exploration of the Sun to the remarkable SpaDeX docking demonstrations that are opening new possibilities for India’s future in space,” Pawan Kalyan said.
The Jana Sena leader said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India’s space sector has entered a new era.
“Reforms, greater private-sector participation and institutions such as IN-SPACe are creating a stronger ecosystem for startups, industry, researchers and young innovators to contribute to our national space ambitions. With Gaganyaan moving towards India’s first human spaceflight and the Bharatiya Antariksh Station taking shape as part of our long-term Space Vision 2047, the journey ahead is even more inspiring. Saluting every scientist, engineer, technician and young dreamer who is taking Bharat higher, farther and beyond. For Bharat, the sky is not the limit. The universe is the horizon,” he added.
