AT least two people have been transported to the hospital after a bus and car crash on the Gold Coast this morning.
A woman in her 30s and a young girl were taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions, while a man in his 40s is being assessed by paramedics.
He has a knee injury and is expected to be taken to hospital.
It is believed the car and bus collided head on around 10.45am, damaging the front of both cars on Brisbane Rd in Biggera Waters, close to Harbourtown Shopping Centre.
The bus is blocking the road and police are directing traffic.
It is unknown if there were passengers on the bus at the time of the incident.
Meanwhile, firefighters are responding to reports of a car leaking fuel on Hansford Rd in Coombabah.
One crew is en route to the area.
Earlier a woman came off her motorised scooter at Broadbeach Waters on Bermuda Street and Fremar Road at 8.30am.
She sustained multiple abrasions and was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital.
