Lucknow, June 25 (IANS) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to visit the Dhanghata Assembly constituency on Thursday, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for a total of 65 development projects valued at Rs 224.79 crore, giving a significant boost to infrastructure and public welfare initiatives in the region.

According to the official programme, the Chief Minister will arrive at the Baijunathdham Shiv Temple situated in Baswari village under the Hansar Bazar block at around 4 p.m. During the visit, he will also address a public gathering and interact with local residents.

Officials said that out of the total projects, 17 development works worth Rs 54.42 crore will be formally inaugurated, while foundation stones will be laid for 48 additional projects involving an investment of Rs 170.37 crore.

The projects are expected to contribute to the overall development of the constituency and improve public amenities in the area.

Ahead of the Chief Minister’s visit, Dhanghata MLA Ganesh Chauhan on Wednesday inspected the event venue along with senior administrative officials.

During the review, he emphasised the importance of ensuring adequate facilities and smooth arrangements for members of the public attending the programme.

The inspection covered various aspects of the preparations, including parking facilities, traffic management plans, security measures and the helipad arrangements.

Chauhan issued necessary directions to the concerned departments and officials to ensure that all arrangements are completed efficiently and without any inconvenience to visitors.

Following confirmation of the Chief Minister’s programme from the Chief Minister’s Office, the district administration stepped up preparations and put all concerned departments on alert.

Officials are working in coordination to ensure the successful conduct of the event.

District Magistrate Alok Kumar and Superintendent of Police Sandeep Kumar Meena are personally overseeing the preparations and monitoring the arrangements at the venue.

The administration has been conducting regular reviews to ensure that all logistical and security-related requirements are met well before the Chief Minister’s arrival.

The District Magistrate said that three Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) have been deployed specifically to supervise and coordinate the arrangements at the venue.
