Consul General (CG) Kajari Biswas recently met Minister for Police, Road Safety, Tourism and the Great Southern,Reece Whitby MLA, to discuss strengthening tourism ties and connectivity between India and Western Australia.
The meeting reviewed the Minister’s recent visit to India and explored the prospects of introducing direct air services between an Indian city and Perth. Both sides noted the steady rise in Indian tourist arrivals to Western Australia and the opportunities this presents for expanding bilateral engagement.
Discussions also underlined the role of education partnerships, sporting exchanges, and growing business links in supporting tourism development and fostering stronger people-to-people connections between India and WA.
