The Consulate General of India in Perth marked National Unity Day 2026 by administering the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas pledge to its officers and staff, commemorating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
According to the Consulate’s official social media post, Consul General Kajari Biswas administered the pledge, bringing together the Consulate’s officers and employees to reaffirm their commitment to India’s unity, integrity and security.
The observance honoured Patel’s contribution to national integration and highlighted the importance of preserving the country’s unity and sovereignty.
The Consulate said the occasion renewed its collective commitment to the unity, integrity and security of the motherland.
