Canberra, May 22 (Australia India News Newsdesk)

The High Commission of India in Canberra and BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Canberra, will jointly host celebrations for the International Day of Yoga (IDY) on June 6.

The event, scheduled from 9.30 am to 10.30 am, will invite members of the community, families and friends to participate in a programme centred on yoga, wellness and holistic living.

Organisers said the celebration aims to highlight the timeless Indian tradition of yoga and promote its message of harmony, mindfulness and healthy living.

The programme forms part of the wider global celebrations of the International Day of Yoga, which promotes physical and mental wellbeing through yoga practice
