The Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland (ECCQ) has invited expressions of interest from multicultural community organisations for a four-part Revenue Generation Training Series aimed at strengthening long-term financial sustainability.
The programme is designed to help multicultural organisations develop practical strategies to diversify income, improve fundraising capacity and build stronger financial foundations.
ECCQ said participants will learn how to prepare revenue generation plans, strengthen grant and fundraising proposals, explore social enterprise models, understand philanthropic funding pathways and develop practical approaches to income diversification.
The training encourages at least two members from each participating organisation’s management committee to attend so they can maximise the benefits of the programme.
According to ECCQ, each participating organisation will complete the series with a practical revenue generation plan ready for implementation.
Expressions of interest close on July 17, 2026.
ECCQ said the initiative forms part of the Sustainability of Multicultural Organisations in Queensland project, which aims to build stronger, more resilient multicultural organisations capable of delivering long-term benefits to Queensland’s diverse communities.
