The Kashmiri Pandit Cultural Association of Victoria has highlighted the strength of Australia-India community ties by celebrating India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to Australia, describing it as an opportunity to reaffirm the close cultural bonds shared by the Indian diaspora and the wider Australian community, according to the Consulate General of India in Melbourne.
According to the Consulate General of India in Melbourne, members of the association shared a special message showcasing Kashmiri culture, music and cuisine while expressing their support for the growing Australia-India partnership. The Consulate said the initiative reflected the Indian community’s continuing contribution to Australia’s multicultural society.
