India and South Australia have explored opportunities to expand economic cooperation during a meeting between Indian High Commissioner Nagesh Singh and South Australian Minister for State Development Chris Picton MP.
According to the High Commission of India in Canberra, the two sides discussed ways to build on existing economic ties through greater trade and investment cooperation.
The discussions covered a range of areas, including critical minerals, defence, space, education, technology and innovation, reflecting the breadth of potential cooperation between India and South Australia.
Singh also participated in a Trade and Investment Roundtable facilitated by the South Australian Department of State Development. The roundtable examined opportunities to further develop India–South Australia trade, investment and business partnerships.
The engagements formed part of the High Commissioner’s meetings in Adelaide aimed at strengthening commercial and institutional links between India and South Australia.
