Consul General of India in Perth Kajari Biswas visited ProGenis Pharma and met Prof Rakesh N. Veedu, Co-founder and Managing Director of ProGenis and Founder of Syngenis, to explore opportunities for collaboration in biotechnology, RNA therapeutics and life sciences.
Biswas was briefed on ProGenis Pharma and Syngenis’ work in developing innovative RNA therapeutics and advancing research in healthcare solutions. The companies are working on research and technologies aimed at supporting cutting-edge developments in the field.
Syngenis’ Scientific Advisory Board includes pioneering scientists such as Professor Marvin H. Caruthers, known for his work in DNA and RNA technology and for pioneering the chemical synthesis of oligonucleotides.
The visit provided an opportunity to explore potential avenues for India-Western Australia collaboration in biotechnology, RNA therapeutics and life sciences. Discussions also covered innovative research and technologies being developed in Western Australia and ProGenis Pharma and Syngenis’ expanding presence in the Indian market.
