Brisbane celebrates International Day of Yoga at Government House

The Consulate General of India in Perth, in partnership with the Treeby Community Association and the Art of Living Foundation, commemorated the 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY) on June 21, 2025, with a vibrant and well-attended event.

The celebration, held in line with the global theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” featured guided yoga sessions that encouraged participants to embrace physical wellness, mental clarity, and inner peace.

The event was graced by the presence of City of Cockburn Mayor Logan Howlett and Councillor Carol Zhang, who joined community members in showing their support for yoga as a universal practice promoting well-being and unity.

Organisers thanked all attendees for their enthusiastic participation and highlighted the significance of such community-driven initiatives in fostering harmony, health, and cultural understanding across Perth and beyond.
