Perth, March 21(Australia India News Newsdesk)

The Basava Samiti of Asia Pacific – Perth Chapter participated in the Clean Up Australia drive held at Canning Vale College Senior High School in Canning Vale as part of its ongoing community engagement activities.

Members of the organisation, including children and families, gathered in the morning to take part in the clean-up programme. Participants collected rubbish and waste materials including broken glass, coffee cups, plastic caps and straws from the school surroundings.

Organisers said the initiative was aimed at promoting cleanliness and creating environmental awareness among community members, especially children.

After the clean-up activity, participants gathered at the main entrance of the venue where breakfast and masala tea prepared by volunteers were served.

The organisers thanked all volunteers, parents and children who participated in the programme and described the event as both meaningful and successful for the community.
