Consul General of India in Sydney Dr S. Janakiraman visited the newly established VFS Centre in Sydney to review its operations and assess arrangements for passport, visa and consular services.
During the visit, Dr Janakiraman inspected the centre’s upgraded facilities and interacted with VFS staff to discuss measures aimed at ensuring efficient, transparent and applicant-friendly service delivery.
The Consul General also met applicants using the centre and sought their feedback on the new facilities and the quality of consular services being provided.
According to the Consulate General of India in Sydney, the visit formed part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen consular services and enhance the overall experience of applicants across New South Wales.
The Consulate said the new VFS Centre is designed to provide streamlined, customer-focused passport, visa and other consular services, reflecting its commitment to delivering accessible and citizen-centric services to the Indian community and other applicants.
