Perth Caribbean Association hosts vibrant cultural celebration

Consul Naresh Kumar attended the first-ever Caribbean Festival in Perth, organised by the Perth Caribbean Association, marking a significant cultural event for the local community.

According to information shared by the Consulate General of India in Perth, the festival was a vibrant celebration showcasing Caribbean culture, connection, and community spirit. The event brought together members of the Caribbean community and other attendees to experience and appreciate the region’s rich cultural traditions.

The festival highlighted the importance of cultural exchange and community engagement, reflecting the diverse and inclusive nature of Australian society. Organised as an inaugural event, it set the stage for future celebrations aimed at promoting Caribbean heritage in Perth.

The Consulate noted that Consul Kumar was delighted to attend the occasion, underscoring the role of such events in strengthening community ties and fostering mutual understanding among different cultural groups.
