Canberra, May 2 (Australia India News Newsdesk)
In a moving tribute to the victims of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, the Federation of Indian Associations of ACT Inc (FINACT), Canberra, recently organised a candlelight vigil to express solidarity and remembrance.
Held with dignity and reverence, the vigil brought together members of the Indian community and supporters from across Canberra. Participants lit candles and observed a moment of silence to honour the 26 innocent lives lost in the April 22 attack.
The High Commission of India in Canberra commended FINACT for organising the event and for uniting the community in a powerful expression of grief, resilience, and collective condemnation of terrorism.
