Sydney, June 26 (Australia India News Newsdesk)
The Consulate General of India in Sydney, in partnership with Sri Om Care, commemorated the International Day of Yoga 2025 (IDY 2025) with a special community gathering at the Glenwood Community Hub, reflecting the global theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.”
The event was attended by Warren Kirby, Member of Parliament and president of the New South Wales–India Parliamentary Group, whose presence underscored the growing engagement between Australian leaders and the Indian community.
Participants from various walks of life joined the celebration, engaging in guided yoga sessions that emphasised health, harmony, and mindfulness. The event reinforced yoga’s global relevance and its ability to bring communities together in pursuit of well-being and inner peace.
Organisers praised the enthusiastic participation and highlighted the event’s role in promoting cultural connection and sustainable living through the ancient Indian tradition of yoga.
