The festival is celebrated with great devotion, and the event at Akoonah Park was no exception, featuring a range of activities and traditional ceremonies.
The celebration included lively kirtans (devotional singing), traditional dance performances, and puja (worship rituals) to honour Lord Rama’s life and teachings. The park was adorned with colourful decorations, creating a festive atmosphere where families and individuals gathered to take part in the joyous occasion.
Devotees were treated to prasadam, a sacred offering of food, which was shared among the attendees, symbolizing the spirit of unity and togetherness.
