The Consul General of India in Perth, Kajari Biswas, attended Multicultural Day celebrations organised by the Institute of Health and Nursing Australia (IHNA) and the Institute of Health and Management (IHM) at the IHM Perth campus, highlighting the diversity and multicultural spirit of the community.
During the visit, the Consul General interacted with nursing students and staff and appreciated the opportunity to engage with members of the health and education community.
The Consul General was warmly welcomed by Justin Jacob, Campus Director, along with staff members. She also met other members of the institution, including Prof. Stephen McMurray, Matthew Philip and Mercy Mary Jose.
As part of the programme, the Consul General presented a certificate to Christian Vallee and congratulated him on his contribution to the field of health.
The celebrations reflected the multicultural character of the Perth community and provided an opportunity to recognise the contribution of students and professionals in the health sector.
