The Consulate General of India, Brisbane, in collaboration with GOPIO Cairns Inc., held a consular camp in Cairns on May 24, 2025, aimed at supporting the growing Indian community in Far North Queensland. The initiative provided crucial consular services such as OCI, passport, and visa assistance, benefiting around 50 members of the Indian diaspora.
The camp highlighted the Consulate’s ongoing commitment to engaging regional communities and making consular access more inclusive and convenient for Indians living outside metropolitan areas.
