Perth, February 13 (Australia India News Newsdesk)

The 88th edition of the Know India Programme (KIP) has opened for applications, offering young members of the Indian diaspora an opportunity to reconnect with India’s vibrant culture, heritage, and ongoing development journey.

Organised by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, the initiative is designed for eligible youth of Indian origin, excluding Non-Resident Indians, who wish to gain deeper insights into India through an immersive and educational experience. The upcoming programme is scheduled to take place from March 8 to March 27, 2026.

Officials stated that applicants must be between 21 and 35 years of age, possess a graduate qualification, and demonstrate proficiency in English. The programme aims to strengthen links between India and its global diaspora while encouraging participants to engage with India’s cultural traditions and contemporary achievements.

Interested candidates have been asked to submit completed application forms along with the required documents by February 19, 2026, through the designated consulate email, com.perth@mea.gov.in, with organisers encouraging early submissions ahead of the deadline.
