Perth celebrates Indian sports and culture at Kabaddi Festival 2025

Perth, October 6 (Australia India News Newsdesk)

The inaugural Perth Kabaddi and Sports Cultural Festival 2025, organised by the Indian Club of Western Australia, saw enthusiastic participation from the community, celebrating the vibrancy of Indian sports and culture. Consul General Kajari Biswas attended the event, recognising its significance in promoting community engagement and cultural pride.

The festival featured Kabaddi matches and other traditional Indian sports, offering a platform to showcase athletic skill and teamwork while connecting participants with India’s rich sporting heritage. Beyond the competitions, the event fostered a lively environment for cultural exchange and strengthened ties within the Indian diaspora in Western Australia.

With its mix of sport, tradition, and community spirit, the festival underscored the importance of preserving India’s cultural legacy while encouraging active participation and unity among diverse communities.
