The Consulate General of India in Sydney, in collaboration with Brahma Kumaris Australia, organised a Raksha Bandhan programme that highlighted the festival’s enduring values of protection, unity and harmony.
The programme opened with reflective remarks by representatives of the Brahma Kumaris, followed by the traditional tying of rakhis to staff members of the Consulate.
The celebration emphasised the values of mutual respect, universal harmony and togetherness, while reinforcing the importance of nurturing positive values and stronger community connections.
