The Consulate General of India, Brisbane, organised the Viksit Bharat Run as part of global celebrations highlighting the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) by 2047, the centenary year of India’s Independence.
The run brought together members of the Indian diaspora and community organisations in Brisbane, promoting unity, fitness and collective participation.
Participants joined the worldwide campaign to celebrate India’s transformative journey and reaffirm a shared aspiration for a prosperous, progressive and developed India by 2047.
The event highlighted the participation of the Indian diaspora in initiatives connected with India’s long-term development vision and provided an opportunity for community members to come together around the themes of fitness, unity and national development.
