Poster unveiled for Brisbane’s Alluring India fashion show

The official poster for Alluring India, which organisers describe as Brisbane’s largest Indian fashion show, has been unveiled ahead of the event scheduled for August 16 as part of celebrations marking India’s eightieth Independence Day.

The poster was unveiled by Consul General Neetu Bhagotia for the event curated by fashion designer Vinay Gupta. The fashion showcase is expected to bring together designers, models and members of the community in a celebration of Indian culture through contemporary and traditional fashion.

Organisers said the event will present India’s cultural heritage, craftsmanship and modern creative expression on the runway. The programme will feature a range of fashion presentations highlighting the diversity of Indian textiles, designs and artistic traditions.

The organisers said Alluring India aims to provide audiences in Brisbane with an opportunity to experience the elegance, diversity and creativity of Indian fashion while celebrating India’s milestone Independence Day anniversary.
