India’s Consul General in Brisbane held talks with Molina Asthana, representative of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) for Australia and New Zealand, to explore opportunities for expanding cooperation between India and the region across a range of sectors.
The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral engagement through new partnerships and collaboration in areas of mutual interest, including sports. Both sides exchanged views on ways to deepen cooperation and identify opportunities that could further enhance ties between India and Australia.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of fostering stronger institutional and business linkages while promoting collaboration across diverse sectors. Participants emphasised the value of sustained engagement in advancing shared interests and reinforcing the growing relationship between India and Australia.
