High Commissioner of India to Australia Nagesh Singh visited the upgraded Indian Consular Application Centre (ICAC) in Canberra to assess its operations and review the delivery of passport, visa and consular services.
During the visit, Singh interacted with the ICAC staff and reviewed the centre’s enhanced facilities, emphasising the importance of providing efficient, transparent and applicant-friendly consular services to the Indian community and other service users across Australia.
The High Commissioner also discussed operational procedures with the centre’s team and commended their efforts to improve service standards and meet the increasing demand for consular assistance.
The upgraded facility forms part of the High Commission’s broader initiative to modernise consular infrastructure, streamline service delivery and enhance the overall experience for passport, visa and other consular applicants.
The visit reaffirmed the High Commission’s commitment to continually improving consular services and ensuring accessible, efficient and citizen-centric assistance for the growing Indian diaspora in Australia.
