India’s High Commissioner to Australia, Gopal Baglay, met Chris Bowen MP, Australia’s Minister for Climate Change and Energy, to discuss strengthening India-Australia cooperation in clean energy, climate action and sustainable development.
The meeting focused on expanding collaboration in renewable energy, clean technologies and other areas that support the transition to a low-carbon economy.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation in climate and energy initiatives and exploring opportunities to advance sustainable economic growth.
The discussions reflected the growing India-Australia partnership in addressing climate challenges and promoting a greener and more resilient future through closer cooperation in clean energy and innovation.
