Sydney, May 28 (Australia India News Newsdesk)
The Consulate General of India in Sydney, in collaboration with the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, has announced the Talent Show 2025 Competition, inviting enthusiastic participation from members of the Indian diaspora in New South Wales and South Australia.
Open to all age groups and genders, the competition aims to celebrate India’s rich cultural heritage through dance. Participants are encouraged to express their passion for Indian traditions by showcasing their talent in Indian Classical, Folk, or Popular group dance formats. Each group must consist of 5 to 20 members.
Entries must be submitted in the form of video recordings up to five minutes in duration by June 30, 2025. From these, a select number of groups will be shortlisted to perform live in a five-minute stage presentation on July 18, 2025.
The winning groups will have the honour of performing at the grand Independence Day reception on August 15, 2025, hosted by the Consulate General of India in Sydney.
Organisers hope the event will not only foster a deeper connection with Indian art forms but also bring communities together in a spirit of celebration and pride. For many performers, it offers a prestigious platform to share their cultural identity with a wider audience in Australia.
