Canberra, June 21 (Australia India News Newsdesk)

A large gathering participated in the International Day of Yoga celebrations at Old Parliament House in Canberra, highlighting the growing popularity of yoga as a means of promoting health, mindfulness and well-being.

The one-hour yoga session was led by Yoga Australia Chief Executive Officer Josh Pryor, who guided participants through practices focused on relaxation, mindfulness and physical wellness.

The event brought together members of the community for a shared experience of yoga, offering participants an opportunity to reconnect with body and mind amid busy daily lives.

Organisers said the celebration reinforced the message that yoga is more than a form of exercise, describing it as a holistic way of life that supports physical health, mental well-being and inner balance.
