Perth, June 16 (Australia India News Newsdesk): Consul Naresh Kumar attended the 10th anniversary celebrations of MuKaMai Tamil School in Perth, held alongside the vibrant Tamil New Year festivities.

The event showcased the richness of Tamil language and culture through a series of performances by students, including traditional music, dance and cultural presentations. Families, teachers and community members gathered to celebrate the school’s decade-long contribution to promoting Tamil heritage in Western Australia.

Speaking on the occasion, the Consul commended the school’s efforts in preserving the Tamil language and cultural traditions among younger generations. He also acknowledged the dedication of parents, teachers and volunteers whose continued commitment has helped strengthen the Tamil community and pass on its rich heritage to future generations.

The celebration reflected the strong cultural spirit of the Indian diaspora in Western Australia and highlighted the important role community language schools play in preserving India’s diverse traditions while fostering cultural identity among Australian-born children.
