The Indian Society of Western Australia (ISWA) participated in the “Tea for Harmony” celebration organised by the Australia Chinese Women’s Business Association as part of International Tea Day 2026 festivities in Perth.
The multicultural event brought together representatives from different communities to celebrate friendship, cultural exchange and social harmony through the shared tradition of tea.
ISWA said the programme highlighted how chai and tea culture continue to serve as a bridge connecting people across cultures and communities.
