The High Commissioner of India Gopal Baglay recently attended the Australia Day celebrations organized by the Federation of Indian Associations of ACT Inc (FINACT) on January 26. The event began with a traditional welcome and smoking ceremony, followed by a rich display of talent from the Indian diaspora in Canberra.
The celebration showcased inspiring instrumental, dancing, and singing performances, highlighting the diverse cultural heritage of the Indian community. In addition, the event featured an exhibition of artwork by children as young as three years old, along with teenagers, whose paintings were equally touching in their depth and creativity.
