Melbourne, May 25 (Australia India News Newsdesk)

The Telugu Association of Australia Inc. (TAAI) has invited community members to a cultural evening dedicated to the legacy of renowned Telugu saint poet Tallapaka Annamacharya.

The programme will be held at Banksia, Keysborough on May 31 from 2.30 pm and will feature devotional music, classical dance and performances based on Annamayya Sankeertanalu.

Organisers said the event aims to bring together the Telugu community and celebrate Indian cultural traditions through music, devotion and the performing arts.

The cultural evening will include performances by students and artists from several Melbourne-based music and dance institutions, including Krishna Ravali School of Indian Music, Maanikya Veena Music Group, Swara Sadhana School of Carnatic Music, RagaAmrutha Music School, Gayatri Music Academy and Kuchipudi dance schools across Melbourne.

Tea, coffee and snacks will be provided during the event.

TAAI said the programme reflects ongoing efforts to promote Telugu heritage and encourage appreciation of Indian classical music and dance among the wider community.
