Yoga Day celebration draws community at Guyatt Park

The Twelfth International Day of Yoga was celebrated at Guyatt Park in Brisbane, bringing together yoga enthusiasts, community leaders and members of the Indian community for a public event promoting health and wellness.

The celebration was organised in association with Councillor Penny Wolff of Walter Taylor Ward and attracted participants of all age groups. The event highlighted yoga’s growing popularity as a holistic practice that supports physical well-being, mental harmony and a healthy lifestyle.

Participants joined the community gathering in the spirit of unity and wellness, reflecting the global message of the International Day of Yoga.

Councillor Sandy Landers also attended the celebration, which concluded with appreciation for the community’s enthusiastic participation and support for promoting yoga as a way of life.
